Meet Christian Islava

Born and raised in Boyle Heights, California, the art of film was all around me. I found a passion for writing and directing at the age of 8. The first franchise I fell in love with was “Scream” and the first script I ever wrote was my version of “Scream 4”. Unfortunately, I don’t have a copy of the script anymore, but that might be a good thing. This was fun hobby of mine until 2008. My father took me to watch “The Dark Knight” at AMC Universal City Walk and that’s when I knew that I NEEDED to do this. Although I developed other passions in life, the art of Filmmaking has always been a mainstay and a priority for me. I studied at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and earned my BA in Film. I am currently based in LA and plan to continue perusing a career in film to deliver captivating stories about people, places and situations I can relate to. I hope you enjoy the art I was born to create.
